Dream #1: September 2011 -DECAYING BODY OF YESHUA (JESUS) OVER NEW YORK CITY

Body of Christ

I dreamed that I was hovering/flying face-first, Superman style, up I-95 toward NYC. A tongue of flame hovered before my face & was leading me up the highway. The flame spread to the billboards & trees as it passed them, engulfing the billboards with an almost liquid fire. Then I found myself in the backyard of an old historical NYC cathedral (it seemed like Trinity Chapel) on a cloudy, windy day with storms brewing. I was standing at church basement doors that were positioned flat in the ground. The basement doors flew open & upwards, and I saw a body, a corpse that was supposed to be the Body of Christ, depicted as it is on a crucifix, levitating up out of the basement, lying in a flat position. The body was pale and sallow, almost gray. It had a big festering wound in the right side, exposing bare ribs. The flesh was beginning to decay and it was all very gruesome.  As the body levitated higher and higher from the basement, it swelled bigger and bigger (like a corpse bloated from being left in the sun), until it finally exploded over NYC and covered everything - buildings, cars, etc- with a thick, opaque, impenetrable encasing of bright red blood. I was given several perspectives of this--I viewed this as someone walking on George Washington Bridge, seeing every vehicle encased in blood. I also experienced it from inside a penthouse high-rise apartment, and I could no longer see out of the floor-to-ceiling windows because they were covered, encased, in an outer shell of blood. I woke up as I was trying to see through the red encased window. INSIGHT: The Body of Christ on the Crucifix represents the church, the body of believers in NYC. This dream is a warning & exhortation for the Body of Christ in NYC to strengthen what remains among the believers, to clean out decay and bind up wounds in the body through repentance & guarding against compromise with the world. This is necessary for the church, the body of Christ, Yeshua, to be in a position of strength to stand in the gap to intercede for & plead the LIVING blood of Yeshua, Jesus, the LIVING God, over all the inhabitants of NYC in preparation for the storm that God says is coming.
